The Old Farmhouse is a 300 year old stone farmhouse overlooking the beautiful Clun Valley. It is in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty.

The Old Farmhouse is situated next to a working farm. Since no longer being part of the farm, the house has been considerably refurbished but its character has been well retained. If you like oak beams and inglenook fireplaces, you will like The Old Farmhouse.

If you want to get away from it all, you will appreciate the peace and quiet of Woodside. Owls are the only thing you will hear at night.

The absence of light pollution means that on a clear night, the night sky is breath-taking.

The Old Farmhouse has the Enjoy England four star rating for guest accommodation and is part of the Shropshire Sustainable Business Scheme.

If you like walking, this is a superb location. There are lovely walks from the house; you can reach enchanting woodlands within five minutes.

The Shropshire Way and Offa's Dyke can be reached easily from Woodside. Clun is situated on the most imposing stretches of these long distance footpaths.

Children and dogs are welcome. We are 'pet friendly' and there is no extra charge for bringing your canine friends with you.

There is ample off road parking and bikes can be securely stored. We welcome motorcyclists. The area is renowned for touring by bike and motorcycle.
